The Strength of Water(Armagan Ballantyne/2009/New Zealand)A

It’s juast a fine piece of melodrama film about death and redemption  but what is beautiful in this film is it’s not ‘Let’s see it a Moari  culture it ‘s a tragedy of ‘MAORI’ ‘s life’ . The film presenting itself as a melodrama of simple life it have inner eyes when it telling it stories that what I like most in this film

I love the part when the brother walking around with his sister’s spirit but when the movies try tosay things like ‘why you not let her go’ it’s becoming a plain one  without a sorrow of special relationship( the live one can live with the dead of his love)  like “TO GILLIAN ON HER 37th BIRTHDAY”
